I have found the illumination to be in an inexpensive plastic explanation. I was very bowled over compelling into account the cost of the unit. Other than that the illumination perform flawlessly and will work even if the sky has been partly cloudy the day before. The solar aerial must be very sensitive if that is the right word, due to the performance of the battery charge. We have been experiencing cloudy weather lately and the illumination subdue work properly.Overall I am very lucky with the unit, with the exception of the explanation. I suggest that the unit be mounted in a location that is shaded from direct summer sun. I am not sure how water supply the plastic explanation will hold up since this is the first (winter) season we have had it in use. Judging from my past experience with other solar units, the explanation may not be able to take full summer sun.

I used this dual light to replace a similar electric one that we used at the lobby to our barn. Certainly not as bright but facility to light the way at night. And of course there is no cost to run it. Would recommend.

To be trustworthy, I didn’t have high hopes for this light. LED’s in general, subdue have a long way to go before replacing CFL and habitual light bulbs. But, this light is reasonably bright for its size. I be fond of that the domestic batteries are rechargeable AA’s which means an simple replacement as they start to die out. The single negative is the plastic construction. It just feels low-cost. Time will tell if it holds up, but it is every light. As others have suggested (read the picture instructions), it can take a day or two of excellent sunlight before it starts to work.

Simple to install.. Just needed a screw driver and a ladder.. Activates single at night time.. Even my 75lb dogs turns it on..Produces fantastic light and like how the bulbs can be positioned in any direction..We will see how lasting it is though..

My contractor installed this light in a water supply-lit corner of the house two weeks ago. It has disastrous to work.
